While in Hungary, I’m privileged to stay in a place on Gellert Hill. There is an outlook, not far, viewing the Danube and both the Buda and Pest sides of the city.
The Citadela, sitting atop of Gellert Hill is being renovated. Expected completion is some time in 2026. Here’s a snap of the construction work as of June, 2022.
