Excursion to the Sz\u00e9chenyi Thermal Bath. From Budapest center on the Pest side, make your way to Bajcsy-Zsilinszky \u00fat Metro station. Take the M1 Metro to the Sz\u00e9chenyi f\u00fcrd\u0151 stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’re not up for underground travel, make your way along scenic Andr\u00e1ssy \u00fat. You’ll come across Hero’s square – more on that on another page – from there make your way to the baths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can get tickets online or at the gate. I went in the middle of June, albeit not the full on tourist season. I found no line waiting to get in. I’m glad I didn’t waste money on a Fast Track ticket. At the time of this writing the admission was 11,000 HUF; about $30 USD. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember your towel, slippers, and cash or a card if you want lunch or a beer by the pool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
